While I was in Paris this past summer, I visited The Louvre, which was absolutely amazing. The Louvre was so big I didn't have the chance to see everything but I visited the Denon wing, and the Sully wing. I saw Italian and German sculptures such as Antonio Canova,
Phyche Revived by Cupid's Kiss, 1793, marble, and the Michelangelo Bounarroti,
Dying Slave, 1515, marble. I also saw the Greek and Roman marble sculptures. I got to see the Mona Lisa up close which was interesting. Some of my favorite parts where the tiny metal rings and bracelet because they were so intricate. There many bowls and and small sculptures that were gorgeous and very well crafted. Even the building itself was spectacular, I especially loved the glass pyramid that was on top.
